The source for the date I was given for that episode of "Tic-Tac-Dough" came from Wikipedia.

Mind you, Wikipedia is full of shit. They say only 48 DuMont-era episodes survive of "The Morey Amsterdam Show", but other sources say the number is closer to 70-something episodes.

They also say that fragments from the last few minutes of various "Mary Kay and Johnny" episodes exist, but don't list any real source (there is, however, an episode that survives at the Paley Center for Media)

I'm sorry, I know I'm getting worryingly 'obsessed' with air dates. Since many people probably couldn't care less about when a program first aired, I try not to post them too often. Sometimes I just get carried away :-)

No need to worry. I and many other people find them helpful. Certainly more helpful than Wikipedia.
